Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel. These pages are placeholders. Before Real People Together handles any payment or transaction, a licensed attorney and broker must review and finalize the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and all disclosures, including state-specific real-estate brokerage, lending, and securities rules that may apply to creative-financing arrangements.

Important disclaimer

Real People Together provides concierge project management and consulting for property owners and residents exploring long-term lease arrangements. It does not currently offer an advisor directory or consultation booking. Nothing here is legal, tax, financial, or investment advice, an offer to buy or sell securities, or a commitment to lend.

  • Using Real People Together, browsing the registry, registering a home, or saving one does not create any brokerage, agency, lending, or fiduciary relationship. Any such relationship — and any creative-financing arrangement — is formed only under a separate written agreement between the appropriate parties.
  • Information on Real People Together (including anything an owner writes about their own home) is for general information only and is not legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. Do not act on it without consulting your own licensed professionals about your specific situation.
  • Creative arrangements such as sale-leaseback, seller financing, rent-to-own, and equity sharing touch regulated areas — real-estate brokerage licensing, lending (including TILA), and securities laws. They are subject to separate written agreements and applicable law.
  • Entries on the registry are written by the owners themselves. Real People Together does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any entry, any owner, or any outcome.

Accounts, the registry, and what we store

This section describes how accounts and the property registry actually work today. It is written plainly because it needs to be understood, not just agreed to.

  • What an account holds. Your email address and password, so you can sign back in; the name you chose, if you gave one; any property you registered; and the homes you saved, with any notes you wrote on them. Nothing else.
  • What the public sees. For a registered property, the general area and the arrangements the owner said they would consider are always shown. Every other field — the street address, the city, the owner's circumstances, everything — is private unless that owner specifically chose to publish it. That choice is enforced in the database itself, not only on the page.
  • What stays private. The homes you save, and the notes on them, are visible only to you. Owners are not told who saved their entry, and nothing on this site is counted or ranked. Your name and email never appear on the registry.
  • No introductions, no messages. Real People Together records and displays interest. It does not introduce owners to interested people, pass messages between them, negotiate, represent anyone, or take part in any transaction, and it takes no commission or share of any arrangement.
  • Deleting. You can edit or remove any entry or save at any time, and you can close your account from your account page. Closing it deletes your registered properties, your saves and your login. We keep no copy.
  • Address lookups. If you use the address tool, it queries public listing sources for general orientation. It is not an appraisal or a valuation, and results are only stored if you choose to save them.

Licensing & disclosures

Some content on this site may be considered advertising in some jurisdictions. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Real People Together does not list homes for sale, represent a buyer or a seller, negotiate, or take part in any transaction, and it takes no commission or share of any arrangement. Long-term lease and creative-financing arrangements touch rules that differ from state to state, and any such arrangement is handled by appropriately licensed parties under a separate written agreement. Consult your own licensed professionals before entering any arrangement.

Terms of service (draft)

Placeholder for the Terms of Service governing use of Real People Together: eligibility, acceptable use, what an account holds, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and termination. Nothing is sold on this site and no fee is charged for using it. To be drafted and reviewed by counsel before launch.

Privacy policy (draft)

Placeholder for the Privacy Policy: what personal information Real People Together collects (account, registered-property, and saved-home data), how it is used and shared, how long it is retained, security measures, and your rights. Because users may describe their property and financial situation, this policy must address the sensitivity and retention of that content. To be drafted and reviewed by counsel before launch.
